The Mystic Seaport is located in the town of Mystic which in turn is named after the River Mystic River, which flows through here. If one's name sounds familiar, maybe because here Julia Roberts first movie "Mystic Pizza" is playing. As the name suggests, Mystic Seaport, the area is situated right on the water, closer to the mouth of the Mystic River. If you drive into it to Mystic, you have to drive to Greenmanville Avenue, because there is the entrance to the Seaport. Since this is a much-visited attraction the plant is well signposted. There is free parking both at the level of the main entrance and at the height of the north entrance, which is open seasonally and in our cas...Read More

The Days Inn Mystic in Mystic, Connecticut is part of the same chain Days Inn - Inns, Hotels & Suites. Like all hotels in the chain it can be seen from afar at the logo with the big yellow sun on a blue background. On the seventh day of our journey we came to the U.S. state of Rhode Island and the city of Newport, where we explored the Cliff Walk. Newport was founded in 1639 and was a refuge for dissidents. The city became rich through trading and today it has the highest concentration of colonial buildings. Already in 1861 it was discovered by the rich citizens of the city and they built themselves large houses here which were almost palaces. Even today the city of Newport is still rich. Many yachts are in the harbor and there are many Mansions. The Cliff Walk is a 5 kilometer walk on the cliffs of Newport. He begins at the corner of Memorial Boulevard and Eustie Avenue, specifically on...Read More

At the Plimoth Plantation is a museum village or open-air museum which explores the settlement of Plymouth by the Pilgrims, but also the impact of colonization on indigenous peoples. The plant is quite large and shows Plymouth in 1627, ie 7 years after the arrival of the Mayflower. In addition, here is a typical camp of the Wampanoag has been reconstructed, so that one can sympathize with both sides of the story. What to see exactly when I will get to later tour of the Plantation ... The Plimoth Plantation is located on the outskirts of present-day town of Plymouth, about 3 kilometers south of the harbor, where the Mayflower II is moored. Plymouth is once again a small town in Massachusett...Read More
