Whenever my wife and I are in Paris we have to stop at Angelina. My wife first took me here a few years back when we were not yet married. I know this is known as a "tourist" spot and is considered dated but we love it. The hot chocolate here is a must especially the rich and delicious l’Africain served with a heaping of fresh whipped cream on the side. The pastry here is also excellent. I have enjoyed the eclair as well as their saori. Our last visit here was in January 2011. My wife and I arrived around 10am and wanted just a snack and some hot chocolate. The place was pretty empty save a few tables so we had a choice of seating. I let my wife choose and she decided on a nice table for t...Read More

We chose this hotel for three reasons: price, location and chain. We arrived at the hotel in the morning and we pleased to find our room was ready. My Diamond status with Hilton granted us an upgrade to a suite as well as the other perks such as lounge access. The Diamond Representative, Julien greeted us and showed us to our suite on the fifth floor. The suite was amazing and for a European hotel it was down right huge. The suite had a large living room with couch, chairs, ottoman, table, desk, credenza and TV. There was a closet and a bathroom nect to this area. The bedroom had a chair side table, desk, dresser, king bed and a large master bathroom. The master bathroom has a full tub, lar...Read More

Hotel Astor Saint Honore

Hotel | "Small, Charming Hotel"

This hotel has everything I want in a stay: great location, good service, clean room and an awesome buffet breakfast. It was so easy to walk to the Louvre from the Hotel. There was nice shopping and we were very close to the Opera Garnier and the Place de Concorde. The hotel itself is small with 130 rooms . Upon entering the hotel there is a nice sitting room, chek in, conceirge, library and bar on the main floor. Rooms are accessible by spiral staircase or elevator. Our room was on the third floor and had a nice garden view with french doors opening onto the terrace. The room itself was a nice size with a bed, desk and bathroom. The bathroom was a nice size and had bathrobes and slippers. The tub was...Read More
