I chose this hotel based on availability and location. I have stayed in the area before so it was a no brainer. The hotel is the basic city hotel with large lobby complete with bar abnd restaurant off to the side. Check in here was a breeze and we were handed our breakfast vouchers for our stay. The room was a nice size considering it is a city hotel; which often can mean small cramped rooms. Our room was rather nice with a comfortable bed, desk, chair, armoire,dressser, TV, mini bar, closet and bathroom with nice toiletries.The bed was comfy and the hotel was very quiet at night. O' Reilley's is one of those bars I always seem to end up when visiting SF. The bar is a comfortable, relaxed place where you can have a drink and be casual. The service here is good but not intrusive; which I like. They have several beers on tap and in bottles as well as wine and other alcoholic concoctions. There is also a bar menu with some pub grub items to snack on.

My last visit here was to have some pre dinner drinks before heading off to dinner. My wife and I sat at the bar and enjoyed a few beers; we both were in the mood for some Stella. This is a joint where I can easly waste hours just drinking and talking as time goes by....

Johnny Foley's is a pub I have always enjoyed in SF. I've spent some serious time here at the bar and have enjoyed some good food here. This place is the kind of pub I enjoy; casual and without pretense. The pub is a inviting place with dar wood accents, ample bar seating and several dining areas. During our latest MR to SF during Super Bowl weekend we decided to stop in for some drinks and some food. We arrived in the early evening and waiting about five minutes for a table. The donuts of the shops are made from organic and local ingredients. SFO has some pretty good food options for an airport and Tomokazu is a perfect example. Located in a food court setting near the United terminal; Tomokazu serves sushi. They have a variety of pre made sushi dishes and well as hot items to choose from.My wife and I often have a red eye out of SFO and want to gtab something to eat so we don't arrive starving back in NY. Our last visit SFO we each grabbed a pre made sushi platter. I had the eel rolls as well as some tempura rolls while my wife enjoyed some California rolls. When we say Anthony eat a large Salt & Pepper Dungeness Crab we knew we had to try it for ourselves.We were in SF for a long weekend and decided to stop here for lunch. Lori's Diner is a chain of diners with location sthroughout SF; even a location at the airport. Before heading off to the airport for a late flight we decided to stop here for a meal. The restaurant is a 50's style diner that serves typical diner fare: burgers, fries, BLTs, Milkshakes, etc. This particular location was right down the block from our hotel and not too far of a walk in the rain.The diner wasn't too crowded and we were seated at a nice booth. Wow. I have come here on several of my trips to San Francisco. There is almost always a line as this place is small and very popular but Trust me; it's worth the wait. The worst part about this place is they show you the menu outside and you are all set but before you order the line moves past the kitchen area and you see all these great foods coming out and end up changing you mind 15 times. I am always impressed with the food here. This is a small place I am told is only known by the locals. Although it seems to be becoming slightly more popular. It is half bar and half restaurant. This is a place I frequent nearly every time I am in town. I have brought all my out of town guests I have come to San Francisco here with. It is that good. And if you can get one of the tables by the windows it would be a great place to have a nice dinner for two.
