Quote: As part of a study abroad trip at the beginning of my sophomore year, I went to Brisbane, Australia. This incredible city is full of life, from downtown Queen Street to rainforest and animal santuaries outside the city. Don't miss Brisbae if visiting Australia!

Best sites & sounds of Brisbane:
* South Bank - Wonderful views of downtown, boardwalk entertainment, shopping
* Queen Street Mall - Large outdoor mall great for shopping, eating, and people watching
* Roma Street Parkland - Boardwalks through lucious landscape along with river
* CityCat - Unique public transportation with views of the city from shoreside
* Lone Pine Sanctuary - Koalas, kangaroos, and various wildlife unique to Australia

Quick Tips:

Best Way To Get Around:

CityCat, ferry, and bus system all link together at a very low price. Try the unique CityCat (short for catamaran) to see the city from the river.

The Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary gives a unqiue view of many of the animal species native to Australia. You can get up-close and personal with many different species of koala. There are acres of land for you to roam with the kangaroo and feed them out of your hand. This sanctuary is much more fun than most zoo's!
