Hotel Alfonso XIII

Hotel | "Amazing, Simply Amazing"

"You get what you pay for" is a cliche but in this case it's 100% true. This hotel is stunning. The service is outstanding and the location if nearly on top of the major attractions in Seville. I could go on for pages on how nice it is but that would be pointless. Just know that if you're worried about the cost, don't be - you will certainly get what you're paying for.

Hostal La Calzada

Hotel | "Quaint, Good Location, and a Good Value"

A simple hotel with few amenities but enough to help you rest and a place to escape the outside if you need it. The room was small but plenty of space for 2 people and their luggage. the AC was hard to figure out but we left our patio doors open all night and that cooled us off plenty. The location provides you with instant access to the old town and some excellent little cafes. If you drive in, plan to park a few blocks away.

You're also within a 5 minute walk to the ferry docks that can take you to Morocco (which I HIGHLY recommend)

A Mare

Hotel | "A Little Slice of Paradise"

You really can't ask for a nice place to stay than a hotel like A Mare. While it may not be a posh as some fancy lodgings and it's certainly not a resort or sterile chain hotel on the edge of town, it does provide you with relaxing confines in an amaxing little town in the Algarve. Salema is a quiet alternative to the touristy Lagos or Sagres. If you want bars and music and noise, go there. If you want quiet and relaxation, come to SalemaIf you're going to be there for more than a night, rent one of the 3 apartments and settle in. There's a small market down the street where you can stock up on the basics and make yourself a nice breakfast and lunch. Hit the local bread lady in the ...Read More
