Home stays in Goa are every where and in a place like Anjuna, almost every house offers one. Devta Inn is where I stayed one weekend.

Rs. 200 per night (This is November - account for a 15-20% hike in the peak season of December-January) for a room and a bathroom which is shared (but very clean, running water hot and cold). It is just five-ten minute walk from Anjuna beach. There is a very helpful guy called Johnny there. Gives you towels, soap, etc.

Nothing luxurious but extremely functional and well worth it.
