Me and My BABY!
Our trip wouldn't be complete without the drive south to Seven Mile Bridge. This year was no different. We cruised into Islamorada for the famous Islmorada Fish Company fresh catch sandwich. Grouper was catch of the day and I could not have been happier. We enjoyed our lunch as they fed the tarpon from the docks. After a great lunch, we hopped back in the car, put the top down and headed south.
Followed by our friends in their car, we were entranced by the turqoise ocean as we enjoyed a wonderful breeze. Having gone to Key West numerous times we chose to make the turn just past the bridge and head back into Key largo.(Our friends went on down to Key West)

Attraction | "Our Favorite Dive Operator"

Dive Buds Forever!
Diving with It's a Dive is a mainstay for us. Jokingly, the last time we were there, one of the captains asked where we wanted to go today. I stated, "take me somewhere I haven't been", and he returned with, "we won't take the boat that for south." Knowing that we are considered "regulars" even in the seasonal category. I would highly recommend this operation be it your first or four hundredth dive in the Keys.
Every employee is professional, personable and friendly whether your a new or repeat customer. When the boat leaves the Marriott resort, the fun begins. The crew does a fabulous job making sure all the divers and snorkelers are comfortable and always give extra attention to those who are going out with them for their first experience of ocean diving/snorkeling.
Their catamaran, The Sea Star, is our favorite vessel, very stable with plenty of room to set up gear and enjoy the ride to the reefs and wrecks.

Hotel | "Bayside Beauty! "

moon bay
Moon Bay is a privately owned gated condominium community located on Black Water Sound, an inlet of the Florida Bay. All the amenities of home are included in every unit. Each unit is tastefully decorated by its respective owners. Some very whimsical and fun, some more elegant ond upscale. Almost every unit here affords one a magnificent view of Florida's amazing sunsets. Or, venture down to the tiki hut on the pier for a sunset wine party where owners and guests alike enjoy good company and breathtaking views. We never fail to make new friends every time we arrive.
The units are divided into three seperate buildings, all surrounding the pool and clubhouse area. Lush tropical foliage and well maintained walking paths make this condo unit seem a world away. Conveniently located just of the Overseas highway, the main building does a magnificent job as a noise barrier for the busy highway. So, one could spend their day lounging carefree by the pool without the hustle and bustle going on around them.
