We only stayed one night at this hotel which we picked because it is barely a hop and a skip away from the train station. We were returning to Groningen after a short break in Brussels, thus, we were somewhat familiar with the city and the fact that this hotel is not right in the center of things was not a problem. As it turned out, it was a blessing. We had stayed at Eden City Hotel Groningen, which was very central, and thus, very noisy. The Asgard Hotel was just the opposite. It is on a very quiet street yet only a few blocks away from the busiest roads.
