Ah, LONDON… just the very name conjures up many images and now there’s a fascinating "young thing" in town catching everyone’s eye. She turned 9 years old in March and already has become an iconic landmark and symbol of England—yes ENGLAND, a land long in history. From one of the many bridges over the Thames, my husband and I had a good look at The London Eye before getting up close and personal and climbed aboard for a 30-minute ‘flight’. Each of the 32 pods holds about 25 passengers, so there’s lots of elbowroom for picture taking.
