Waipio Valley Artworks is a nice store to visit if you are on your way to see Waipio Valley. You can't miss it if you drive through the small, historical town of Kukuihaele. It is located in a plantation style building on the right of the road if you are going north. There is a large entrance to the main showroom and there is a small door at the north end that leads into their snack shop that serves up yummy ice cream, sorbets, sandwiches, and sodas. My niece always orders their passion fruit sorbet which is about $3 for a scoop in a plastic dish. The sorbet is very delicious and tastes like the local lilikoi fruit that grows here on the island.
