I've been to Cambodia with my family about 8 years ago and recently returned back with my boyfriend. We explored as much as we could with the 2.5 weeks we were there. It was an exceptional trip.

Shaking their hairy booties
During our stay at the Kohn Kong resort, we visited the Koh Kong Safari World.

There were many shows.

There was a crocodile show where 2 trained locals wrestled with the crocodiles.

There was a bird show that flew to the audience for money.

During the same bird show, the bird did math.

There was an Orangu tang boxing and dancing show where they "pretended" to box each other. Of course it was fake but I have read online comments of it being "inhumane" but it was an act.. they were not really hurting each other. That was the best show as it was really funny and popular.

Prince D' Angkor Hotel & SpaBest of IgoUgo

Hotel | "Luxury for Less"

One of our 2 beds
After staying in small 10.00/15.00 standard hotels in Phnom Penh, we decided to "splurge" a little in Siem Reap.

We stayed here for 3 nights and booked the hotel through Mekong-travel.com. We paid about 85.00 a night for a pool view room with daily breakfest. The breakfest was both a combination of western and cambodian meals of which we both enjoyed.

The room was beautifully decorated and the bathroom was very spacious.

The pool was very large and not over crowded at all. We did the poolside service once and the service was lovely.

There was always a tuk tuk driver outside to take us anywhere we needed.

The only bad thing was that we received 2 queen beds instead of 1 King bed. It wasn't that big of a deal as we used the extra bed for our stuff.

I think the hotel caters to korean tourists as there were some Korean dishes at breakfest and we saw lots of korean tourist bus arrive with tourists.

Overall, the hotel was great.
