Every time I go to Kauai, I always make sure I take my friends on the helicopter ride with InterIsland Helicopters. There are no doors, though don't let that frighten you. You're quite safe, I assure you. You experience a view like no other between the lush valleys, the magnificent peaks of Napoli, the endless variety of special places to fall spellbound to the crashing of the waves and the informative history, as told by the pilot, of this unique island.
Quick Tips:
Must sees: sunset from the Princeville Hotel over Hanalei Bay; dine at A Pacific Cafe and Roy's for some 5 star dining that would rival anywhere in the world; experience a whale watch with whales and dolphins so close that no one will believe your pictures when you come home.Best Way To Get Around:
Definitely need to rent a car to see it all. There is really only one main road that goes around the island but there is no public transportation and the roads are to narrow and steep for bikes.
