I live in New York and am used to paying exorbitant amounts to play tennis for a short time. Therefore every time I leave town, I try to pack my tennis gear. Washington DC did not disappoint. There seems to be several public facilities. I ended up choosing the East Potomac Tennis Center as it was the nearest to my hotel and I was able to make a reservation without a hassle.The East Potomac tennis center is beautifully situated on the Potomac river, close to many of the monuments. My mouth waters just thinking of this place. When our hotel staff directed us to this place with the claim 'Best Ethiopian restaurant in DC', I was not sure it would live up to the hype. After all, DC is full of Ethiopian restaurants. The restaurant is huge and the cavernous nature did not exactly instill optimism about the quality of the food. But it was pretty much full. We ordered Dukem Salad as an appetizer and for the main course, my friend ordered Dukem Special Beef Tibs and I ordered the 5 Item Vegetarian Combination with Fish.The Dukem Salad was good, but the entrees where outstanding! Sweet Green is a small, healthy food eatery, right in the heart of Georgetown district in DC. The menu is pretty simple. Salads or yogurt. There are chef created salads or you can make your own. I only had the yogurt. It's somewhat similar in concept to Pink Berry. I had a small plain yogurt for $4. And this comes with a choice of 3 fruit toppings. Great yogurt, fresh fruits.
