Best Way To Get Around:
Unfortunately there is no public transportation access to this area. You have to use your own transportation.
This is rather remote area. Nakusp (village of over 2000 people) offers many fine accommodations and activities. Drive scenic road from Revelstoke to Nakusp:
highway no. 23 via free ferry from Shelter Bay to Galena Bay. From Nakusp use highway no. 6 to Vernon via Fauquier
(and breath taking) Monashee Pass.
