First part in old, heavy cedar forest. Hike in hot weather, when trail is dry. Trail head begins at 1670 metres.
At about 3.5 km you will pass an old log cabin in the sub-alpine forest.
Second part. From here be on alert. Bears digging are seen in the area.
From there your hike become very interesting. Many open vistas offers excellent scenery. Top of the Saddle Mountain offers 360 degree view to the Arrow Lakes and more.
