After surfing the web to decide on the different options that our travel agency gave us, we choose Pousada Aguas Claras. First of all because of the location, as it is only 3 blocks from the center and pretty close (a fifteen minute walk) to some of the beaches. We knew that during the day we wouldn’t mind walking a little to the beaches, but at night, we wanted to be close to the center and avoid walks in areas that we didn’t know how safe they were. Geribá: My favorite beach! Situated on the oceanic side of the peninsula, this is the spot chosen by surfers. The reason: waves, of course. I also like quiet beaches, but you can have more fun at beaches with good waves. Our inn offered daily transportation to the beaches, every day to a different one. At 10 o’clock, after having a heavenly delicious breakfast, the friendly van driver was ready to depart. The day was wonderful, sunny and hot.
