Someones little hideout
I am lucky as a friend of mine owns a property here, however a huge selection of cabins are available, visit link for more details, I have included some photos of the type of accomodation available, a small 1 bed cosy cabin to a lakefront mini mansion with its own launch, the choice is yours.

Lake View
The lake has somewhere in the region of 27 miles of shoreline, it offers anything from a trip on an old pirate boat (you can even get married on it ) to water ski-ing or fishing, many of the lakefront rental properties have their own private launch.

Big Bear is set in the San Bernadino National Park, there are many activities, walking in the forest (take a stick and watch out for bears / coyotes / snakes ) fish, swim, take your pick, most of it costs a few US dollars but its well worth a stay even if only for a weekend.

Typical Cabin
Big bear is a place everyone loves. Although property can be cheap or at the other end hellishly expensive, there is really no industry in the resort, it's a small place set at the top of a mountain. However, if you are rich or you think you can make it here with your own buisness, heres a URL for real estate

www.bigbear.com/realestate

Yes, I would dearly love to live there too, maybe one day!
