Pepper's American Cafe and Sports Bar Best of IgoUgo

Restaurant | "Pepper's Cafe"

Peppers is an American restaurant with the traditional burger and fries and a few spins on some of the American favorites including many tasty wraps.
A great family place to sit and watch the game with your family. It has a real at home cafe feel and the staff is very friendly. The food is good and not over priced. If you are looking for a place to go that is relaxed but still has good food. This is the place for you.
There is a bar but the restaurant is separate and a family friendly place.

Erbert & Gerbert's Subs and ClubsBest of IgoUgo

Restaurant | "Erbert & Gerbert's Subs and Clubs"

A healthy and cheap fast food option. These sandwiches are unlike anything you have ever had before. They scoop the insides out of the sandwiches so all the goodies fit nicely into the sandwich. But you still get the soft goodness from the inside of the bread.
They have many different types of sandwiches that are made with fresh ingredients that taste GREAT.
This restaurant does deliver and makes a great late night snack that you won't regret in the morning.

Red River ZooBest of IgoUgo

Attraction

:-P
This zoo doesn't have that much to offer. It is a good place to take the kids and visit if you are not from the area to see some of the wildlife but can easily be seen in about a hour or two without missing anything or feeling tired.
For such a small zoo there are quite a few 'exotic' animals including pandas, peacocks, and camels. To people not from the midwest this is a great place to see much of the local wildlife including gophers, ducks (that can be feed with a quarter), and eagles.
An extensive wolf exhibit is in the progress of being built and will offer another exciting exhibit to the zoo.
A carousel ride for only a dollar is a great way to wrap up the day in the zoo. There are a few food options in the park and the zoo is not far out of town but isolated enough.
A petting zoo that includes horses, goats and other farm animals. A really cool thing for people who have never been on a farm.

BowlerBest of IgoUgo

Attraction | "The Bowler"

The galatic bowling at this place is not worth your money or time. The building smells like smoke (there is a bar in the building), the service is slow, it is expensive and the food is not that good. My group of friends and I had a tough time finding a lane to bowl because they kept breaking.

Lindenwood Park Campground & InformationBest of IgoUgo

Attraction | "Lindenwood Park Campground & Information"

Up River
A park with a little bit for everyone. There are picnic areas, multiple play grounds, campsites, and walking path all close to the Red River.
The picnic areas are great. There are several picnic tables that can be moved to create an area for many different people. There are grills available for your use but you do need to bring your own charcoal, lighting fluid etc.
The playgrounds are close to the picnic areas and a large one is just down the road that is great entertainment for children both young and old alike.
Even though the campsites are close to I-94 the trees help block the sound so you hardly notice the interstate is right there. The close location allows easy access to the park and to many different stores to pick up anything you may have forgot.
The walking path by the river connects this park to North Fargo. You can spend hours exploring the Red River nature and wildlife of the Red River Valley.
All and all this is a great park for everyone. More information about reservations and costs for the campground can be found at http://www.fargoparks.com/facility_camp.html.

With rising gas prices driving from garage sale to garage sale can get expensive. The Valley's largest garage sale is an opportunity to shop at several garage sale without the annoying in and out of of your car. With the unpredictability of Fargo weather it is also nice to have a warm, dry place to go garage saleling.
There are some big things such as couches and tables but most of them go pretty fast so if you are looking for something like that make sure you get there early. There are a lot of nick nacks. Many 'dealers' such as Tupperware and Avon also set up booths.
There is an admission fee, and some booths don't accept checks so make sure you bring cash.
Overall an amazing place to garage sale and find some great deals!
