I found the my best times coming from enjoying the atmosphere that i was surrounded in. It was refreshing to be around people who enjoyed where they were rather than worrying about where they are going next. The beaches are all beautiful, but I found the main beach at Surfers Paradise to be a little commercial and crowded. For a more relaxing experience, Burleigh Heads is a nice alternative. The night time is the best time to be in Surfers because of the great bars and clubs all within walking distance from each other.
