Ibiza 2007

The staff were exceptional at this hotel. They were always friendly and helpful by far the best service from a hotel in a long time.

The hotel is very well located only 10 min away from airport, you should not pay more than 10 Euros for taxi to and from.

The rooms are a good size, they could be more modern and the air conditioner was a bit weak. The hotel and the rooms were very clean. You want to get an Ocean View room as the others face the street and it's not that nice. The hotel has a pool area which is five star. The hotel is no Westin or Sheraton but it makes up for it with the service from hotel staff. Breakfast was very good with a vast selection from eggs to cold cuts and fresh juices. It's a full breakfast by North American standards.

Cafes and restaurants are just a short walk away. You can also walk to Ibiza Town which is a 10 min. away. You'll find great shopping and really nice cafes by the marina.

The hotel is pricey and really not worth the money. But if this is your first time in Ibiza and want peace of mind in where your staying then it's worth it.

Only the best club on the island. Really professional door people, great venue with incredible sound and light system. Try and arrive early as there is always a line up to get in. Never buy tickets for this place from people on the street as they can be fake. There is a Disco bus that runs from all major resorts to and from Space it's great if you are going with a big group. Cover charge is about 25-30 EUR depending on the DJ that night.

Make sure you are wearing good walking shoes because it's the best way to explore the castle and small, narrow, winding, cobble streets that surround it. The views of the town and sea is really beautiful especially at sundown. There are many gift shops and street merchants just outside the entrance selling unique, local crafts. In the town itself, there are many shops and restaurants to explore. Many cafes line the marina and is perfect to relax and enjoy life go by.

There are many diving schools located throughout the island, I decided on The Anfibios Diving Centre & School because they were close to my hotel and they offered diving tours for beginners up to advanced. Price was $120 for 3 hours. We visited some caves and ship wrecks which were fantastic. The water was very clear and warm too. Instructors were very good who spoke English, Spanish and Portuguese.
