This trip was basically about relaxing on the beach, so there is very little information on what to do outside the resort I stayed in, except for the rainforst (El Yunque), which is visible from the hotel. This resort has everything you could possibly imagine, from fine beachs to pools to a casino to a golf course. More information inside.

The resort has an airport shuttle (about a 30-45 minute ride to San Juan airport) for a fee.

This is the ultimate in a vacation experience. I stayed at what they call the "Villas" section. This is not villas, but basically condos. I had a full 1-bedroom apartment on the top floor, complete with an ocean-view balcony, dining area and full kitchen (fridge, stove, oven, microwave, utensils). The Villas has two pools that are separate from the main hotel, and a stretch of beach that is all its own. The beach is wide and the hotel goes a good job keaping it clean.
