Tour Of Heidelberg Germany (University Town)

Heidelberg Castle was a site to see we spent the whole day at the Castle just taking pictures and exploring the grounds. The next morning we took a tour on a boat down the Rein River visiting lots of Monasteries along the way.

Quick Tips:

On the castle grounds they have a snack bar rest rooms and a gift shop or you can visit one of the many guest houses for a good cooked German meal. Bring plenty of German Deutch Marks (German money).

Best Way To Get Around:

Best way to get around is by car - you can rent one at many locations in Heidleberg. Also to get a better view at all there is to see, walking and meeting the German people I thought was the best way.

One room, shower/bathroom, TV, telephone. There was a guest house eating room and bar downstairs in the hotel. Very friendly people. Hotel also has room service.

We had a German steak smothered with mushrooms and home fries. When you order from a German Guest house they pile the food on the plate so make sure you're really hungry before ordering. The German beer is a must.
