Quick Tips:

Best Way To Get Around:

Taxis are hard to use unless you have your destination written in Japanese. It is much easier to use the wonderful train system- all color coded and stations in English.

Sawanoya Ryokan

Room charge per night single room without bath 5,000yen+5%tax/per night. Have wonderful family owners and cute bird. Mac with free Internet access. Located in Ueno district within short walk of train station. I have stayed here 2 times already and loved it!
