The guest house consists of apartment units with 3 bedrooms in each unit. Each apartment has its own lounge, kitchenette area and shower-room. Guests may rent one room, two rooms or the whole apartment (3 rooms). However if guests rent only one or two rooms, there is a likely-hood that they share the apartment with other guests.

Quick Tips:

The guest house is located in a rural village setting immersed in a tropical agricultural activity. There are rubber and oil-palm plantations, rice fields, fruit orchards and other tropical agro-economic activity. One can have plenty of opportunities to go hiking hear in the hills, or go cycling near the plantations or along the Kelantan river, where one can also go fishing, rafting and boating.

Best Way To Get Around:

The guest house is easily accessable by the "jungle train" as the train station is only one km away, and is a 15 minute drive from the Main train statiion at Tanah Merah Town. By bus, one may disbark at Machang and then take a 15 minute taxi ride to Gaharu Guest House in Temangan. There is no bus service between Temangan and Machang. If you are driving along the Kuala Lumpur-Gua Musang-Kuala Krai-Kota Bharu trunk road, Temangan is just an 8-minute drive from the exit at a village called Batu 30, which is about 20 km after passing the town of Kuala Krai.
