I tagged this restaurant as serving American, but not in the "burgers and fries" sense. Petunias serves a lovely blend of Cajun, Creole, and French - just what you'd expect in New Orleans. Petunia's is in a pink, three story building on St. Louis Street, and was about a block from our hotel. We were out early, and were the first customers of the day at 9:00. (We actually waited a minute or two in the street for the waiter to unlock the door.) The building is old, with a narrow entry way, high ceilings, and what either original or well-interpreted fireplaces.
