Winter in AspenBest of IgoUgo

Overview

The place that the most famous and rich people like to visit. You will find actors walking around with no worries about paparazzi or fans. Lots of good restaurants and art galleries. Four mountains to ski, Aspen Mountain, Highlands, Buttermilk and Snowmass. If you want to take a break of skiing you can go shopping, you will find the best of the best...Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Prada, Fendi, Dior and so on. You can go snowmobiling, dog sledding and snow shoeing as well.

Quick Tips:

Talk with the concierge in your hotel and ask for restaurants suggestions, most of them you need to make a reservation. The best mountain for you and your family. For example: Aspen is more for Skiers; Buttermilk for beginners and is where they have the Winter X Games; Highlands if you want to go fast, is the deepest and highest mountain; and Snowmass, all-mountain, for family, young kids, if you wanna go to the parks, trees, moguls, or just cruse.

St Regis Resort AspenBest of IgoUgo

Hotel | "St Regis Aspen"

Really nice hotel, the best one in Aspen.
All the rooms have plasma TV, free wireless, two sink bathroom and humidifier.
They also have Butler and Ski Butler services, complimentary shuttle from the airport and around the city, heated pool with 3 hot tubs and a bar at the pool as well. 24hours Fitness Center and Business Center. Remede Spa, the best one in town. The staff are from all over the world so they speak many languages, you will not have problems with that. Complimentary coffee in the morning and a welcome hot cider in the afternoon. Valet service, Gift shop and also Ski shop so you can rent and store your skis and don`t have to take them up to the room.

My experience was amazing, if you want to come to Aspen and have a wonderful experience don`t think about another hotel, stay at the St Regis.

Attraction

They always have good bands playing, it is the only place in Aspen where you will find good live music. It's right in downtown Aspen in walking distance from all the hotels.

Buttermilk MountainBest of IgoUgo

Attraction

Buttermilk is a mountain for beginners and for Pros. For beginners because most of the slopes are greens (easy) and blues (medium). And for Pros because they have the Winter X Games Park, a lot of big jumps and rails.
