Chicago is a city of new and old with a chillaxing environment.

Bob Chinn's

If you like seafood, here's a variety for you to experience. Bob Chinn's is most known for serving crab and fish but also serve steak, chicken and pastas for those who are not a fan of our sea creatures.

The service begins with complimentary garlic rolls. Warning: if you're not a fan of garlic and/or grease, this is not going to be your appetizer delight. Otherwise, this packs the punch. Make sure you bring lots of mints and gum for the after experience at this restaurant.

I particularly enjoyed my macedemia nut crusted swordfish on a bed mashed sweet potatoes, simple but packed with mucho flavor. The seared ahi tuna (usually comes really rare) was abundantly more than an average portion that one would get. It's enjoyable but a major contrast in comparison to the swordfish.

If you want to dine fun with family and friends, this would be a nice place to go. The servers and their bright shirts in the ship wrecked decor exudes a convincing experience of islands.

Yummy cup of frozen custard.

Culver's of Palatine

Ice cream lovers beware... Frozen custard is a delicious alternative that will pleasurably melt in your mouth.

What is FROZEN CUSTARD? Think of ice cream but thicker and richer. Instead of an even base of milk and cream, Culver's creates a custard that's frozen and dispensed like ice cream. You can top it with any sort of typical toppings, or you can select one of their chocolate-crazy designed combos. Good dessert... One cup should be satisfying to the sweet-tooth's mouth.

In addition to the yummy desserts, this midwest based restaurant, Culver's, is a fast food restaurant stalked with your traditional burgers and fries as your classic American dinner should be. I know it sounds bizarre, but I totally recommend getting their crispy fries and dipping it into the frozen custard. The sweet & salty factor plays a party of taste in your mouth.

Take a couple of family and/or friends with $20 to enjoy this simple and sweet restaurant.

Signiture Room

This posh lounge rests atop the 95th and 96th floor of the John Hancock Building in Downtown Chicago. If you're ever lost and want to know how to get there just look up for one of the colorful top floors among the buildings in the city. Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the rim of pink lights circumvent the roof of this skyscraper.

Experiential Recommendations:

1. When looking of the entrance into the building, notice the weird Cheesecake Factory facade. Not what I usually see as the CF's usual decor. Maybe I haven't been to enough.

2. Entering the building, observe the mod paintings on the marble walls and make sure you follow the signs towards the correct elevator for the Signature Room. They're posted on the walls as well.

3. The elevators are bit old in structure and sort of feel like a socal earthquake. Otherwise, the levitation is quick and ear-popping.

4. Fear not the lines during the late nights. They go faster than you think.

5. Girls... go to the ladies' room and soak in the visual there. The city sites crazy cool. You can do the Ferris Buller's Day Off thing - stand on the step and place your head on the glass. Kinda feel likes you're flying. I could only take it for a second as the fear of heights soon overtook me.

6. Guys... sorry, but I heard the view there blows.

7. The drinks are bit pricey but you're there for the view and the ambiance, right?

That's all I can really say about this place. I would totally recommend it for a site-seerer, a blind date, and chill night out on the town.
