Fabulous Wedding, Outstanding Location

I came here for my own wedding with my new husband, parents, husbands' sister and nephew. From the moment we walked into our villa we were shocked! It was the largest 1 bdr villa we've ever seen. After being an avid Caribbean traveler for over 15 years this was superb in size, layout and architecture. We had a New, Corner Villa Penthouse suite, which I was told was constructed no less than two years ago. The room was more than enough for the two of us. Amazing view, amenities, internet access and above all else...right on a private beach! What more could one ask for, for such a special occasion. Our wedding was held on the beach, an amazing orange and pink sunset as our backdrop. We married under a lovely gazebo the hotel custom made for us, after we told them what we wanted. We had a band, catered gourmet buffet reception (also on the beach!)and a spectacular custom made cake from a great bakery in road town. The very hospitable staff made this hotel exactly what it exclaims "quiet, personable and intimate", no detail went overlooked by this resort's crew. After the family left, also raving about their experience, we spent our Honeymoon at this hotel for an additional week on a package. The hotel's spa is lovely with the trickling of a little waterfall in the background, warm Caribbean color painted walls and bamboo decor. The restaurant was also gourmet, we got several recipes to take home from the friendly chefs there. Surprisingly, the myth that everywhere you eat in the BVI is slow service, this hotel did not fall prey to it and was fast, courteous and aware in all aspects. The hotel's snorkeling trip on their big yacht powerboat was also great and one of the best memories of our trip. We visited all the nicest beaches on the island like Smuggler's Cove, Cane Garden Bay, Josiah's Bay and trekked over to the Bath's in Virgin Gorda one afternoon. I plan on returning to this resort in the very near future and HIGHLY recommend this for the perfect family, honeymoon, girlfriend or couples getaway!
