I traveled via jet boat from Newburgh, NY to the Statue of Liberty on the Hudson River. This was definitely an adventure. If you do a trip like this, make sure you start out early in the morning. Take Dramamine if you get motion sick. Dress very warmly with lots of layers. The wind early in the morning on Labor Day can be freezing. By the end of our trip we stripped down to our shorts and t-shirts, but dressing warmly is very important in the beginning. We were on the water at 8:30 in the morning.
