Attraction | "Day Trip to The Mall of America"
Mall of America
60 East Broadway
Bloomington, Minnesota 55425
If you are tired of walking around the Mall of America for hours, take a break and head up to the fourth floor and catch a movie. With 14 screens, there is sure something for everyone. The prices are really reasonable, and it is a great way to pass the time when you need a break from all the action.
I personally like stopping in the afternoon to catch a movie because that is about the time the Mall gets busy, the food courts get busy, and no one seems to be in the theater. It kind of gets you away from all the commotion. They have showtimes posted up just outside the movie theater so you can go up to the fourth floor early in the morning and see when your favorite show is playing. Then at that time, if you think you need a break from all the shopping, head back up and catch a flick. it's highly recommended. A little tip - wear a sweater! The couple times I have been in there it was quite cold.

Attraction | "Mall of America in a Day"
If I only had one day to experience at the Mall of America, it sure would be a busy one. Some of the main attractions that I would have to go and see would be Underwater World, Legoland, and the Park at MOA. If you are traveling with the whole family I would definitely buy unlimited ride wristbands at the amusement park because single tickets can get really expensive.
Food is also really expensive, that's why when we go for a day at The Mall of America I bring beverages and snacks for the little ones. The small treats can get kind of expensive, the meals at the restaurants and food courts are quite reasonable.
I would also recommend that you bring your walking shoes with you to The Mall of America. With four floors of shopping and so much to see and do, you do not want to waste any time sitting on a bench because your feet are so sore. Arrive early. The Mall of America opens at 10am every day except Sunday, which it opens at 11am. This gives you a couple of hours to browse the mall before it becomes too crowded. It is a big tourist place and does get quite busy, especially on weekends.
There is plenty of parking available. Bring plenty of money. With hundreds of specialty shops, it is impossible to be able to go through the mall and not purchase a single thing. There are several cash machines available throughout the mall, and most places take debit and credit cards. Have fun at the Mall of America, you will certainly have a blast!
