Virginia Highlands is also known for its large gay population so if you have a problem with this lifestyle then shame on you. Its definitely not San Francisco but you do see some gay couples.

Best Way To Get Around:

Walking is the best way to get around Virgina Higlands. There are a lot of shops and clothing boutiques in the area and around the corners from the main street which you will miss by driving by but on being on foot allows you to check out those hidden spots that only the locals know about.
