The church of the spilled blood
This beautiful church is Russian-style and was built right on the place where the Russian Emperor Alexander II was killed by the terrorists. Soviet Government intended to destroy it 3 times, but, thanks to God, this beauty survived. The interior of the church is terrific. As the climate in St. Petersburg is very wet, there are practically no paintings in the church, all walls are covered by mosaics.
