We visited a lot of different parts of Israel...Bethehen, Jerusalem, Jericho, The Dead Sea, Tiberias, Tel-Aviv, Bethany, Caesarea, Beit Shean where they have done excavations. It was so exciting we where busy everyday starting a 8am to 5pm in the afternoon. Trip cover hotels, meals, and a tour bus to get us everywhere. The only problem we had was the food, we didn't like the taste of the food there, thank the Lord that we had been told to take a lot of snack in our bags with us so we did and we ate them. The fruit there is good, but the way they prepare their meat and vegetables are not so good.

Quick Tips:

We went the a tour group called TriStar Tours, Christian tour specialists and they are good at their job, they know the bible and all the places that are the best to visit when you are there. Take you some American snacks, like cans of chip, nuts, or whatever will travel.

Best Way To Get Around:

We was with the tour bus most of the time but on our one free day we used cabs, most of they understand English and will work on a good fare for you. Make sure you talk about the price before you jump in the cab.

This is a great experince if you have or have not already been Baptized. They have a shop and you pay $5 for the robe you have to keep you clothes on under it so bring a change with you, they have restrooms and showers. This is a once in a life time and you will never forget it. My husband's friends and I all stated the same feelings.

We visited the garden tomb where they believe Jesus was laid, but now it is empty. You can walk inside and view it and the garden outside it, they are nice.

Caesarea
We visited the ruins of Causablers port. It was interesting to see all the things they have excavated out of the ground and all the things they have learned about the people who lived there.

Mt. of the Beatitudes
This is to be the place where Jesus spoke the beatitudes to 5,000 people and feed them, the fishes and leaves. This is a chruch build on this sight.
