An October 2006 trip to Las Vegas by butterfly53
Quote: We had been missing the sights and sounds of Vegas so before we went home from Sedona we sidetripped to Las Vegas.

Restaurant | "Le Provencal"
Several years ago, we visited France and included Provence. Missing that kind of cooking, we decided to go to this restaurant in the Paris Casino. The food was OK, but not overly Provencal. As a matter of fact, their menu included Tuscany entreés, which I felt was a bit odd. Now, the servers also served as the entertainment including a waitress with a lovely voice, but who sang a song in Italian! Huh?
Nonetheless, what I ended up ordering was the open lobster ravioli which was hugely filling but not entirely satisfying as it wasn't really Provencale or even particularly delicious lobster. Oh, well. Our waiter was hilarious! He was probably in his '50s but he told us in his younger days he was a dancer in the Jubilee show at Bally's. I would recommend going here, but don't expect a Provencal meal, just a fun time eating!
