Los Cabos, which runs between two towns, Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo is a very popular tourist destination, not sure why! The weather was great, sun every day, but you cannot swim in most areas along the 20 mile stretch of beaches. The sand on the beach was not very nice, it was very course and some litter and dog or horse droppings on the beaches. The water was very cold in areas you can swim and you will not be left alone with either someone selling T-shirts, jewelry, or a timeshare! It was to the point you could not relax on the beach. In the Marina area of Cabo they were relentless, either harassing you to eat in their restaurant, taking an excursion to the Arch or fishing, or selling ...Read More

Posada Real in Los Cabos is a bang for your buck. This hotel is done in Sante Fe style low rise refurbished about 12 years ago but could use another facelift especially in the lobby area. The grounds surrounding the hotel are kept manicured. The courtyard has beautiful cactus everywhere. The best thing about the hotel, it is very low keyed, pool and beach area never crowed, drinks are not watered down and the hotel staff are very attentive. You can get all inclusive packages for $800 for two not including airfare for five nights. The breakfast buffet was great. The chef will make omelets any style or quesadilla any way you like. Lunch is either a buffet or a poolside restaurant with hamburge...Read More

Lands End on the California Baja is one of the biggest attractions when visiting Los Cabos. This is were the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean. You will see stunning rock formations, many look like animals, the famous Arch carved out by the sea, California sea lions sunbathing on the rocks and if you are lucky, whales. Our guide could only speak a few words of English and would sound like the animals as he pointed them out. It was absolutely hilarious. The boat ride can get very bumpy especially when you cross over to the Pacific Ocean side. At one point you can see both the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean. For only $12 round trip from the Cabo Marina, take a glass bottom boat o...Read More
