I recently visited Tortola and, after a good bit of research, I found Fort Recovery. I was specifically looking for a beachfront place, so this fit the bill. My husband and I travel a couple of times a year to unique places and we really enjoyed Tortola. The people were friendly, the food was good, and the water was simply magnificent. I would recommend Fort Recovery as a place to stay for a number of reasons. You are on the beach. You are easily located on Tortola to get to any of the other beaches or restaurants and the staff is very helpful.
