One of the highlights for me was the view from the Peak, the tall buildings in the city, and the evening light show!
Quick Tips:
When you arrive, you should get an OCTOPUS card, you can get it in every metro station, when you get it the first time, the minimum is HK.00 to top up plus a deposit of .00 You can use the card to pay for nearly everything, like tram, bus, shops, Starbucks, McDonald's, or 7-Eleven shops; and when the amount is nearly gone, you just top it up again.
You should go to the peak, the tram ride is .00 about €2 per way. You have a fantastic view above Hong Kong, especially at night! Just be careful if the weather is bad.
You can use the ferry boats which bring you from one side of the harbor to the other, for (€0.20) you get a nice view of Hong Kong from the water as well.
You should do a trip to the big Buddha! The ferry boat departs from the Central Pier, cost is about .00 one way, and from, take the bus to the Buddha statue. You see the green side of Hong Kong on your journey. Lovely!!!
You should be at the Star ferry pier at 8pm, near the Orient Express clock tower. Every night there is the fantastic light show at the opposite site of the harbor!Best Way To Get Around:
The best way to get around is with public transport, the tram, or bus, if you need airconditioning, and of course with the ferry boats or the subway from one side to the other side of the harbor. I would prefer the boat, you get a better view.
