Full - All Inclusive

Recently, a group of friends and I took a five-day vacation getaway, and decided to go to Puerto Plata, D.R. Before that, we tried to make sure that our destination was the right one. We looked for some information online, and what we found was not that nice, but the price was affordable. We decided to take the risk, and we went to a beautiful complex called Lifestyle Hacienda Resorts…for our surprise, what we found over there was extremely different of what we had heard. We found out that it was an exceptional place, full of beautiful gardens, lots of palm trees, beautiful sand, and the most important thing, very kind people.

We landed to D.R. at Santiago’s airport, which is like an hour and a half away from the resort, the Lifestyle Tropical, the hotel we booked. When we finally got there, the bellman team was so exited about receiving us that just right away looked for refreshing welcome drinks, and as soon as we were checked-in, took us to our rooms.

I need to mention that we have forgotten to request adjoining rooms, and did so at arrival. Even though the receptionist had to change us, she gladly gave us two beautiful ocean view rooms next to each other. That was making everything so different from other reviews we have read. First thing we did after that was having the operator called to see if at 4:30pm there was anything to eat…we were starving! The thing is that the hotel serves food and beverages almost 24/7. We went to eat something at that grill near the beach, Blue Lagoon, which was perfect for our hunger. The food at the resort is very varied from one day to the other, and we stayed there for more than a week and we can’t complaint.

I certainly recommend the hotel, and hope to come back soon.
