This hotel is up on Summer Street. The hotel is decent enough although it is in bad need of renovations, of which they are in the midst of.
Check in was a very good experience. When I walked in, there was only one woman at the desk helping another customer. As soon as I walked up, another person walked out of the back room to help me. Being only SPG Gold our "upgrade" was a single bottle of water and a robe in the room. I can find NOTHING preferential about the room, but for the super low rate I was not about to complain much. So I would say Gold gets little support here.
The room was fairly ok, with a king bed that was mostly comfortable and a small couch along with a large long work desk. The room was fairly well furnished. A plain tub and toilet in the bathroom and single sink in the hall left some to be desired but the huge closet was a bonus.
The hotel has an indoor heated pool, which I have not been in as it was closed the entire weekend for renovation. There is also a couple of restaurants and a hotel bar that look fairly nice.
Up on the fifth floor are the Club Level and the Club Lounge.
