The Cherry Blossom festival is a thing that happens in a lot of states and other countries where the famed Asian Cherry Blossom Tree blooms and people come from all around to celebrate. The one here, in Brooklyn, is a unique sight because it is at a time when the entire Botanical Garden is budding so the sight is overwhelming and fun. My girlfriend, our friend and I went to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden (www.bbg.org) not too long ago for the Cherry Blossom Festival (www.nationalcherryblossomfestival.org/cms/index.php?id=390). The garden is usually a free admission park but because of the festival, the cost of the park was $8 (or $5 for students).
