All in all this place was very nice and well kept. We were very disappointed with the private beach though, as you basically had no access because of the extremely rocky beach and out of the six days we were there four of those we could not even get into the water at all because of the rough water conditions. (The red flag warning us of dangerous currents was displayed.) When we did finally get in on our last day we could only go out a few feet because of the man-made barriers they installed approx. thirty feet from the beach. We didn't want to get too close to these for fear of what might be "hiding."

We have stayed at other places where the water is smooth as glass and the snorkeling is awesome. This beach is in no way recommended for snorkeling! Another disappointment was that we did have a balcony but our room backed up to the giant tennis court and we were unable to see the beach because of this. We are used to going out on the balcony every morning for coffee and enjoying the calm waters...not this time. There was also no coffee pot in our room and no place to plug one in. It stated in their policy book that there should be no curling irons (etc.) plugged in and that you would use "their" hair dryers...very strange!? In order to get coffee we had to go downstairs every morning and buy two cups which were very pricey!
The room service was outrageous! One of the biggest concerns we had was that young teenagers below the age of eighteen were being served alcohol. There would be a large group every day by the pool during happy hour drinking hard liquor and several were very intoxicated. Yes...I wondered to where their parents were? The bartenders continued to serve the teenagers even though they were making scenes and being very loud. We are not old prudes but this was not my idea of fun...listening to drunk teenagers. I know for a fact that two of the girls drinking were only thirteen because I asked them and was shocked! There is supposed to be no cash exchanged but we watched the teenagers pay with cash so they would continue to get service! The distance from your room to the pool, beach, and restaurants was crazy. There were shuttles to take you there but we usually ended up walking because of the waiting time. I know we won't be going back but for others this might be a great place.
