It is ALWAYS raining in Glasgow, no matter what time of year you are there. It rains something like 330 days a year. Its' nuts. Anyway, when I got to Glasgow (which only cost me a $10 flight from Dublin through Aer Lingus) I jumped on the bus from the airport and headed to my hostel. The hostel decided to stay at was the Euro Hostel on Clyde Street. When I was there, there was tons of construction in the surrounding area, so it felt a little odd, but I hear that it has cleaned up a bit since. The hostel was about £20 a night (which is a bit pricy) but it was pleasant. The beds were semi-comfortable but there were baggage storage lockers in the room. That is a rarity and it was very nice.
