When I was on a traveling job throughout the South and Midwest a couple of years back, I happened upon this small town in Georgia called Athens, where one of the campuses of The University of Georgia is located. We ended up staying at the Holiday Inn (http://www.trails.com/all-hotels/hotel-info.asp?hotelid=16414) on Broad Street in the center of the city and this place was perfect. As we drove from Atlanta to Athens, I was expecting some Podunk town with hay bails flying around. I couldn’t have been more wrong. This town was great!
