Walking through both Main Street and Newtown Lane, you are privy to small boutiques, stores, restaurants, deli's, and of course, everyone's real reason for coming out here, famous people. The Hamptons are known for star gazing and they are everywhere in the summertime. During the day, the center of town and the beaches are the places to be while at night, the out skirts are the more star studded areas. Dinner at either Nick & Toni's or Della Fimena's is amazing or off to the 1770 House or Maidstone Arms works too. East Hampton has so many different restaurants to offer that it is hard to decide where to go. But if you can, make a stop at the Palm Restaurant. Located right at the end of the main part of East Hampton town, this place is extremely comfortable and the food is awesome.I went with my family and before we even entered the restaurant portion of this building, we relaxed in the lobby area.
