Hotel | "Imperial Palace"
Located right in the center of the famous Las Vegas strip, the Imperial Palace (www.imperialpalace.com) is a great place to stay. It caters to the financially strapped and fiscally unprepared. At around $66/night, the locale and amenities are great. The hotel is located right next to Harrah’s and across from Caesar’s Palace. Inside the hotel, there is a very eastern Asian feeling with Gothic dragons and castle facades.
Inside the casino (which like every other hotel in Vegas, you have to walk through before doing anything else) there are performers who are the dealers. They dress up like famous musicians and pop performers and sing their songs on a small stage while lights and smoke invade the money pit of America. Afterwards, they head behind the tables and deal out the cards. A truly Vegas stunt. The restaurants in the hotel are also great. They are again made for the thrifty consumer or the person who has lost everything downstairs and have only enough for a bite to eat and cab ride back to the airport.
Finally, the hotel is located right on the tramway line that connects Vegas to itself. So, from the Imperial Palace, you can experience ALL that Vegas has to offer. A great place in an adult wonderland!
