According to the RCI web site we were supposed to be in a Gold Crown Resort. We checked the web site for Ocean Manor and it told of their Grand Opening in February 2006. We thought for sure we would be pleased with our resort. We weren't the only ones disappointed in the resort. I did not find any other visitors happy with their tiny, under air conditioned, sparsley decorated, dim lit units. My once a year extravagant dreamlike vacation was not in Dominican Republic at the Ocean Manor Resort. It's a real shame that we were so misguided by RCI. It doesn't bode well for the next time we want to go Carribean.
