Chicago city tour

I live here in Chicago and, this past weekend, my parents came to visit. Usually when they visit, I try to show them around myself and I spout off what facts I know or can make up about various landmarks around town. This time, we decided to actually take a real tour since I had heard a lot of great things about the Chicago Trolley Company. I had been on the Trolleys before for private events and thought I would try out their downtown tour.

We bought our tickets online in advance which was a nice option and even saved us some money since they offer an online discount. And since their tour allows you to hop on and hop off at all of the main sights downtown we thought that it would be a great way to get around downtown without having to worry about parking or taking cabs everywhere.

Our tour guide on our Double Decker was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable about the city but he was also extremely witty and entertaining; so much so that we decided to stay on board for a full tour before we hopped off at Navy Pier for lunch. My mom enjoyed the tour so much that she still talks about it and when she comes back to visit we plan on taking the tour again!
