Trip to Lincoln, NE

We stayed here during the UNL spring game and I was very pleased. The rooms were very large and well kept. The room was very clean and the beds were to die for. They were remodeling some rooms and I think I must have gotten a new room because it was great.
The room was set up like a small apartment. I would guess this hotel is set up for someone who would stay for a long time but it worked great for my husband and me. It was nice to have the full kitchen, we were able to make a nice snack before we went to bed. We just picked up everything we needed from the grocery store that was next door.
The only disappointment was that they did not have an indoor pool. It is an outdoor pool but I don't think we would have used it during that stay anyway so it wasn't a real problem for us.
However, we were able to have the great breakfast they offered. It was not like the other hotels I have stayed at before! We had hot, freshly-baked muffins, fruit, and even French toast and sausage; it was great!
I was also very happy with the service we got. I don't know where they got the staff at this hotel but everything was great. We were always greeted in a very friendly manner, almost as if we were a guest in their very own home. I think this was the best experience I have ever had at a hotel. I will be staying there every time I'm in Lincoln from now on!
