Theatre to New York

Overview

Quote:
Every year my girlfriends and I go to New York for the day. We usually go on a Sunday to go to the theater. We also do lunch and dinner while we are there, and try to fit in another activity before the show. We live in south Jersey, so we drive to the Hamilton Train station and take the train. This year we headed right down to the South Street Seaport area, then to the Play, then dinner and home.

I had wanted to see Spamalot for the last few years, but always got overruled. We finally went this year, and I must say that it was one of my favorite plays. It was the first time I was in the Shubert Theater, which is kind of small compared to some of the others where we have been. You walk in and you are pretty much right there by the seats. We sat down front on the side, so it was hard to see a few things going on at that side, but not too bad. The play it self was hilarious, typical monty python and the cast looked like they were having such a good time. I think it is the first play I have seen that I would actually go back and see again
