Truly Nature at it's best

We set sail aboard the "Island Star", a vessel so pristine, it looked brand new. We found out later it was built in 1989 right there in Tarpon Springs. Our crew was delightful and professional. Our naturalist was so knowledgeable about Tarpon's history, industries, wildlife, and ecosystem. She answered all of our questions and those of others competently. We saw dolphin, manatee, bald eagles and a host of other shorebirds too many to mention. All of us aboard were provided with auto-focus binoculars, an amenity greatly appreciated!! The boat offers a snack bar with beer and wine, restrooms, and it is handicap accessible. Nature lovers and birders alike must take this trip.
