A great theme park

I did not like California Adventure on it's opening. I found there to be very few attractions and it was pretty boring. Now, I love it!!

The first land closest to the entrance is the Hollywood Backlot. The Backlot is home to many of the parks premium attractions, including the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Monster's Inc.: The Ride, Muppet-Vision 3-D, Turtle Talk with Crush, Playhouse Disney Live, and best of all, a 45-minute Aladdin show shown in a beautifully designed 2000-seat theater. The Backlot is also home to three attractions in the Animation Academy Building.

The next, newest, and smallest land is A Bug's Land. The theme here is great, but the rides are all pretty lame. Four outdoor carnival rides based on a Bug's Life, featuring a train that goes through half-eaten food, bumper cars, a Teacups-style ride, and flying food containers. This land is meant for young children really. The only attraction that really is worth seeing here is the 4-D "It's Tough to be a Bug" show, which is one of the best 4-D films I've ever seen, with a neat queue and excellent theme. Overall, this land is skippable, but watch the show!!

The Golden State features a mere two rides and one attraction, but it's a great area. We have The Recreational Park playground, which is really huge! I get lost walking around in it, and it has great atmosphere. The rides here are the Grizzly River Run rapids ride, and the extremely popular Soarin' Over California. Check this land out.

The Paradise Pier is home to some great rides and some stinkers. The attractions I recommend here are California Screamin', a 55mph roller coaster, Mullholland Madness, a mad mouse coaster, and the Sun Wheel, which features some really fun swinging gondolas.

The food at the park is better than Disneyland and more diverse. The Pacific Wharf area features clam chowder, Mexican food, Chinese food and margaritas! Obviously, they tried to make the food choices diverse, like California).

Great park!!! Fun times will be had by all.
